So...no need to hide anything and happy to share what I expect to happen. This is Deadlands the Weird West's 30th anniversary. We had a Netflix show that would have debuted this year and planned for both. The latter fell through, as I posted before, but it's still the 30th, and we wanted to celebrate it as big as our little company can. Next Tuesday you'll see the combined SWADE and Deadlands rule book (you don't need it if you already have both) and the 30th anniversary celebration book and other goodies. You'll also have all the details on the big event here in Arizona next October. So this year is mostly Deadlands plus the return of ETU plus Rifts, Pathfinder, and a few support books for existing lines like Dark Ages and Lost Colony.

So...next year I hope to bring Hell on Earth and Noir back, plus another surprise. But...we are small, some of our team members are having major health issues, and the market is pretty unpredictable. If you want to help, back the projects that interest you this year, share them on social media, and be patient when we occasionally have to roll with life's punches. Since 2022 our team has been dealing with terrible personal tragedies (several of which weren't public) and we've still managed to be productive, so I think we will continue to do so.

את רוב התכנון ל-2026 כבר הכרנו, אבל שמח לראות שיש תמיכה ב Dark Ages. אם כי עדיין לא יצא לי לקרוא את הספר בעצמי.

אני יותר נלהב לקראת Hell on Earth, שזה בסגנון פוסט אפוקליפטי שזה תמיד ז׳אנר שאני אוהב לקרוא.

באופן כללי נשמע שפינאקל הולכת לשים דגש חזק על אדמות המוות, אם באמת יהיו חמש סגנונות של העולם מערכה בדפוס: המערב המופרע, מדע בידיוני (המושבה האבודה), פנטזיה (עידן האפלה), ספרות זולה (Noir) ופוסט אפוקליפטי (גיהנום עלי אדמות)
זה אולי גם מסביר יותר למה הם מוציאים ספר בסיס ייעודי לאדמות המוות, אם באמת הוא יספק לכל הסגנונות השונים.

באמת לא חשבתי על כך בזמן הדיון שלנו בנושא, אבל אם ספר הבסיס החדש של אדמות המוות מתאים בעצם כספר הבסיס לתוספי עולמות המערכה של ימי הביניים האפלים, נואר, גיהנום עלי אדמות והמושבה האבודה, באמת הגיוני יותר להתחיל עם ספר בסיס של ציר הזמן "הרגיל" ושהיתר יהיו הרחבות שלו.

כן זה משתלב הרבה יותר טוב כספר בסיס לכל קו המוצרים מאשר "רק" אדמות המוות המערב המופרע.
זה גם נשמע הגיוני שאחרי שהם שחררו את כל המדריכים העיקריים (מד"ב, פנטזיה, אימה וגיבורי-על) שהם מפנים את תשומת הלב לעולמות המערכה השונים בתוך היקום של אדמות המוות.

גם נראה שהם מעדכנים למהדורת ההרפתקה ספרי מערכה שלא יצאו שנים ארוכות מחדש (או בכלל לא, להבנתי Dark ages היה רק רעיון שלא יצא לדפוס קודם לכן)
