you should pratice swords building with worring about this step
the most important steps are properly drawing of the sword shape,
carving (which gives a great defintion and detail to the sword
and covering with duck-tape
improving your abilites with these steps is the critical part of becoming a good weapon maker,
ironing is a sub-step for the most part, and isn't neccessary to make good weapons
